Dr. David Dzamukashvili, PhD

Advisor – Director, Legal Affairs and Patents

An accomplished lawyer specializing in intellectual property law, Dr. Dzamukashvili has extensive experience and knowledge of Georgia’s patenting and licensing procedures. He currently serves as Deputy Director General of Georgia’s National Center for Intellectual Property, and as Associate Professor of Intellectual Property Law at Tbilisi State University of Economic Relations.

After earning degrees in engineering from the Byelorussian Polytechnic Institute in 1971 and in intellectual property from Moscow’s Central Institute in 1979, he received his PhD in Juridical Sciences and Civil Law from Tbilisi State University in 1995. He has served as Head of the Patent Department at the Institute for Scientific and Technical Information in Tbilisi, where he managed patent and licensing activity in Georgia.

G. Edward Griffin

Writer and documentary film producer

G. Edward Griffin is a writer and documentary film producer with many successful titles to his credit. Listed in Who’s Who in America, he is well known for his talent for researching difficult topics and presenting them in clear terms that all can understand.

He has dealt with subjects as diverse as archaeology and ancient Earth history, the Federal Reserve System, terrorism, internal subversion, the history of taxation, U.S. foreign policy, the science and politics of cancer therapy, the Supreme Court and the United Nations. His better-known works include The Creature from Jekyll Island, World Without Cancer and The Fearful Master.

He is publisher of Unfiltered News, a weekly analysis of world events, and Founder and President of American Media, The Cancer Cure Foundation and Freedom Force International.

Dr. Joel Wallach, DVM, ND

Dr. Wallach has been involved in biomedical research and clinical medicine for over 30 years. He received the Klaus Schwarz Commemorative Medal, sponsored by the International Association of Bioinorganic Scientists (IABS), and in 1991 was nominated for a Nobel Prize for his discoveries in the use of trace minerals to prevent catastrophic diseases in newborns.

He is the author of numerous books on dietary deficiencies and their effects, and of more than 70 peer-reviewed articles in nutrition and pharmaceutical research. He began his medical career as a D.V.M. (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) and went on to earn his N.D. (Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine) from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Wallach is an associate editor of Quantum Medicine, The Journal of the Association of Eclectic Physicians, and has won recognition worldwide for his work on the trace mineral selenium and its relationship to the congenital genesis of cystic fibrosis. He is president and owner of Youngevity, an international network marketing company, hosts the nationally syndicated radio show “Dead Doctors Don’t Lie,” and gives health seminars and lectures throughout the world.

Dr. Levan Khositashvili, PhD

Consultant

Dr. Levan Khositashvili has served as chief ecologist and research scientist for the Radiology and Ecology Institute in the Radiology and Modulation Department of Georgia, and has published 35 articles in his field.

He earned his bachelor’s degree at the Komarove School of Physics and Mathematics in Georgia. He also holds the qualification of Technologist in ecology, and completed the full course of Technologist of the Chemical Pharmaceutical Industry, earning a specialty designation. After becoming a candidate at Tbilisi Technological Institute, where he specialized in pharmaceutical technology, he earned his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2006 from the I. Qutgeladze Pharmaceutical Institute.

Dr. Luba Diangar

Advisory Board member since February 2017

Dr. Diangar is a licensed doctor of natural medicine, a diplomate and member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, director of corporate wellness at LD Healthcare Systems Corporation, and owner of 2Step2Health. She holds a master’s degree in genetic engineering and a PhD in medical sciences.

She spent more than 10 years working for NASA in Houston, Texas, on Life Support Systems projects.

Dr. Yan-Bo Yang

Founder, BioPharmaDev, Inc.

Dr. Yang is the founder of BioPharmaDev, Inc., and has over 30 years of experience in analytical chemistry, particularly separation sciences and chromatography technology for pharmaceutical, nutritional supplement, medical device and biotech applications, for both small molecules and large biologics. His expertise covers drug development, cGMP, quality systems and preparation for FDA submissions.

He serves as president of the AOAC International Southern California Section, is a member of the USP Prescription/Nonprescription (PNP) Stakeholder Forum Planning Committee, and chaired the USP 2012 PNP Stakeholder Forum. He helped found the Chinese-American Chromatography Association (CACA), serving as its founding president for its first two terms, and is president of the OCLA chapter of the Sino-American Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Professional Association (SABPA).

His advisory role covers chemical characterization, product development, strategy, quality systems, product analysis, quality control, regulatory compliance, project management and cGMP manufacturing.

Nodar P. Mitagvaria

Academician of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences; Professor of Human and Animal Physiology

Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Beritashvili Center for Experimental Biomedicine (Tbilisi, Georgia), and Senior Consultant at the Valley Cancer Institute (Los Angeles, California).

His scientific society roles include Past President of the International Clinical Hyperthermia Society (ICHS); member of the Governing Councils of the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) and the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS); former Executive Director of the International Society on Oxygen Transport to Tissue (ISOTT); Acting President of the Georgian Neuroscience Association; Vice-President of the Georgian Physiological Society; and member of the European Neurological Society (ENS).

He has supervised 36 PhD and 6 Doctor of Sciences candidates in biology and medicine. His honors include the Beritashvili Prize, the international order “Merit for Life,” and the First Prize and Honorary Diploma of the USSR Academy of Sciences for research on cerebral circulation.

He is Editor-in-Chief of the Proceedings of the Georgian Academy of Sciences, Biomedical Series, and the author of three monographs, Cerebral Blood Flow Regulation (Nova Science Publishers, New York), Regulatory Mechanisms of the Blood Supply to the Cerebral Cortex (Nauka, Russia) and Stability of Circulatory Maintenance of the Brain Functions (Metsniereba, Georgia), as well as over 170 articles in Georgian, Russian and English on cerebral circulation and metabolism in normal and pathological conditions, including stroke, hypertension, changes in blood rheology and hyperthermia.
